What is Simpressions? Simpressions is a Practice Firm; a unique adult learning environment which simulates all administrative functions of a real business; however, the production and transfer of goods is virtual. Up to 15 participants at any given time work in real departments of a simulated business, and devote 20% of their time to an active job search.
Who is eligible to work for Simpressions? Unemployed Individuals who are: job ready (need work experience only) residents of York Region/ Bradford West Gwillimbury legally entitled to work in Canada
What does the Practice Firm provide "Employees"? The Practice Firm can provide work experience to participants in the following areas: Accounting Administrative & Clerical Information Technology Communications Purchasing Graphic Arts Marketing & Sales Human Resources
How do I join Simpressions? Participants are 'hired' on a weekly basis for a maximum of 8 weeks, 35 hours/week. Participants are selected through a hiring process, with each participant having a Case Manager. What benefits does Simpressions provide? Please see our Success Stories page.
